Speaking & Media

“Sometimes what didn’t work out for you really worked out for you.” – Unknown

This work doesn’t just stay in the therapy room. From time to time, there’s a chance to talk publicly about trauma, BPD, addiction, and what healing looks like in real life—especially for women who are used to being the “strong friend.”

Past features & appearances

Podcasts, panels, and speaking engagements include:

  • Saturday, December 28, 2019 – What Is Therapy REALLY Like? (Strong Friend Check-In Podcast)

  • Monday, February 15, 2021 – #FreeBritney (Strong Friend Check-In Podcast)

  • Tuesday, October 12, 2021 – Mental Health Awareness (Jacksonville Urban League)

  • Monday, March 7, 2022 – How to Save a Life (Strong Friend Check-In Podcast)

What I love talking about

  • Trauma, BPD, and attachment in real life—not just in a manual

  • What therapy is actually like, beyond TV and Instagram

  • Addiction, recovery, and harm reduction

  • Late‑realized neurodivergence and masking in women

  • Being the “strong one” and finally asking for help
